Eric Boughman is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator who has conducted hundreds of mediations. His practice focuses on healthcare, technology, partnership, and complex commercial disputes.
The Approach
Most mediations stall not because parties can't compromise, but because no one has helped them realistically assess what continued conflict will cost them.
Eric's approach is built around that reality. Rather than simply shuttling offers between rooms, he brings the true cost of the dispute into focus — financial exposure, time, distraction, and reputational risk — in a way that creates meaningful movement toward resolution.
This framework, which he calls the RECO Method and has formalized in his book Beyond Tactics, grew directly out of hundreds of hours at the mediation table. It reflects how he works in every case.

Scheduling & Format
Eric mediates in person in Central Florida and remotely via Zoom or Teams. Sessions typically run four to ten hours. He is available for half-day, full-day, and multi-session engagements, and can accommodate complex or multi-party disputes requiring extended schedules.
He is also available as a special master for discovery disputes and private hearings. Evening and weekend mediations are available by arrangement.
